The Proton 12 First Stage:

The most reliable and widely used design ever created. Divers worldwide have relied on this design for over 50 years. A simple balanced diaphragm keeps the Proton 12 performing regardless of tough applications and remote locations.

The diaphragm design features the DFC (Dynamic Flow Control) system for dynamic balancing of the intermediate pressure drop during the inhalation phase. Body constructed from chrome and nickel-plated brass, with elastomer shock protection.

5 LP ports and 2 HP port for the submersible pressure gauge or the transmission unit of an air-integrated computer.

Proton Metal Second Stage:
Metal technology promotes a smooth, silky delivery, moisturized by expanding cylinder air, while reducing jaw fatigue by a lightweight and ergonomic design.

A bellows diaphragm optimizes air flow. The mesh grid system used in the coverplate maximizes air flow across the diaphragm and reduces freeflow in current. Supersoft hose and an orthodonic mouthpiece for unparalleled comfort.

The finishing touch is of course a "superflex" hose. It's softer and 30% lighter than rubber and has passed rigorous testing at Mares.
