The Blizzard has been a standard for divers in the cold waters for the last 30 years. It has been the "go to" regulator for many Public Safety Dive Teams around the country because of its reliability in the colder waters and for its ease of service. In summer of 2016 Sherwood introduced the new Blizzard Pro. This unit has proven to be as reliable in all environments. With a completely new valve design, the Blizzard Pro comes with improved breathing performance and enhanced cosmetics

Second Stage Features

  • Single Valve Tube Construction provides a precise channel for the poppet to travel
  • Reverse demand lever moves the pivot point from the hose fitting to the venturi adjustment side reduces freezing opportunity
  • Injection molded thermoplastic rubber seat is harder than silicone seats and maintains its shape and does not coin as deeply
  • Large co-molded mouthpiece uses two different silcones color tabs reduces jaw fatigue
  • Diver operated flow control switch

First Stage Features

  • Balanced piston delivers ample air volume at stable intermediate pressure to the second stage over a wide range of supply pressures
  • Spring chamber is environmentally sealed to maintain cleanliness reducing the effects of corrosion and contamination. This contributes to uniform high performance as the regulator is used
  • Dry-sealed first stage uses no liquids or gels that can leak or add to service costs
  • Tee - shaped design reduces regulator profile when mounted on tank
  • Four LP ports and two HP ports for more options for ideal hose positioning
  • Nitrox compatible up to 40%

Manufacturer's warranties for snorkeling and diving equipment can extend as long as 10 years. Two years down the road, a dive computer or BC vest may have a warranty claim. Regulator warranties include free parts for life from the manufacturer but only if they are serviced by an authorized dealer.

To verify a dealer's status, contact the manufacturer. Serial numbers of regulators, etc. are recorded directly on the vendor's packing lists to dealers and are kept as permanent record for 100% proof of purchase from an authorized dealer.

Unauthorized dealers cannot offer manufacturer's warranties, service or parts. Divers Discount Florida only honors warranties and warranty service on equipment purchased from manufacturer's authorized dealers.
